Located in Avila Beach, Lachen Tara Apartments is comprised of 29 affordable units located near the post office, outdoor recreation, a variety of restaurants, and just blocks from the beach.
Apartment floorplans consist of studios, one, and two-bedroom units, ranging from 450 to 880 square feet. Residents have pre-installed kitchen appliances, plentiful cabinet space, and lots of natural light throughout the apartment. To be eligible, the individual or family must make 40% of the Area Median Income. Specific units are available for farmworkers and fisherman households, and accessible units for those living with disabilities. Rent is variable based on the income of the applicant and all utilities are included.
Access to a safe, furnished community room offers space for neighborhood events and celebrations. Onsite laundry facilities are available onsite for convenience and ease. Landscaped gardens, picnic tables, and other shared outdoor space provide opportunities for recreation, relaxation, and community-building.
