Housing for Farmworkers
La Brisa Marina is located in the farming community of Oceano, within walking distance to schools, shopping and employment. Completed in 2001, this development began with the demolition of nearly a block of severely dilapidated buildings and ended with the creation of 16 permanently affordable apartments for farmworkers.
The neighborhood consists of two, three, and four bedroom units. Amenities include a community building, laundry facilities, play equipment and a basketball court. On site services such as after school programs, literacy courses, and health screenings are provided.
