Cypress Place is comprised of 90 affordable, multifamily housing units for households making at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI). There are also be 43 units set aside for agricultural worker households earning 30 to 60% of the AMI.
All units will be equipped with a new dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, window coverings, and vinyl flooring throughout. There will also be mobility and sensory accessible units available. The site has one building that is three stories tall. Residents also have access to uncovered, onsite parking, laundry facilities, a community room, a learning center, and bike racks. This is a non-smoking property.
*”Agricultural worker” is defined as an individual who derives a substantial portion of their income from agricultural employment. Retired agricultural workers are also eligible for these units. Jobs that qualify include, but aren’t limited to:
- Soil cultivation
- Production, growing and harvesting of any agricultural or horticultural commodities
- Raising of livestock, bees, furbearing animals, or poultry
- Dairying
- Forestry and lumbering operations
- Delivery and preparation of commodities for market or storage
