People’s Opportunity Fund

Mainly through deferred interest loans, the People’s Opportunity Fund supports low- to moderate‑income households and communities that have been historically underserved or economically disadvantaged.

Established as a nonprofit in 2010, and independent from People’s Self-Help Housing, the Fund helps lower‑income buyers purchase homes throughout the Central Coast of California.

By raising capital and making money available through a revolving loan pool, the Fund offers a variety of services to help buyers build financial stability. These services include affordable loans, financial education, and counseling.
