Sophie Marsh

As the Associate Director of Communications, Sophie leads the strategy, storytelling, and creative efforts that connect people to PSHH’s mission. Alongside a talented team of writers and designers, she guides communications initiatives that translate the complexities of affordable housing into clear narratives. Before joining People’s, Sophie worked in community outreach with Lumina Alliance and as a freelance designer and communications consultant.

A longtime San Luis Obispo resident, Sophie is a graduate of Cal Poly and an alumna of Leadership SLO. Outside of work, you may find her throwing pottery, playing piano, cheering on a Blues baseball game, or walking dogs as a Woods Humane Society volunteer.
