Education Programs

Available to students of all ages, the Camino Scholars program is currently offered at eight on-site learning centers at PSHH properties throughout the Central Coast. This innovative program provides year-round after-school programming, enrichment opportunities, and support and guidance from application through graduation. Homeownership

For 55 years, People’s Self-Help Housing has brought the stability and wealth-building opportunities of homeownership to the Central Coast through the nationally-recognized Self-Help Building Program. Over 1,200 homes later, we are still helping families realize the American Dream! Your gift to this program can help build more opportunities for homeownership on the Central Coast.

Supportive Housing Program

To meet the needs of our residents, many of whom are transitioning from years of housing instability, we combine compassionate property management with service-enriched supportive housing. Residents have access to free, confidential, clinical case management and onsite care. Our team helps build capacity, well-being, personal resiliency, and ensures residents have access to a wide network of regional resources. Whether it’s a small bump in the road or a long-term challenge, your gift can play a key role in a resident’s return to stability.

Resident Assistance Fund

The Resident Assistance Fund has been providing emergency financial support for medical, food and utilities to PSHH residents in deep need for over two decades. Funds are utilized when all other potential resolutions and community resources have been exhausted. Each year, thousands of dollars are distributed to those facing urgent financial emergencies.
