Resident Internet
People’s Self-Help Housing provides basic Internet service at no cost to residents across most of our portfolio. While the PSHH IT department sets up a few of these sites, most were designed and installed by our collaborative partner Innovative IT.
For onsite Resident Internet support, call Innovative IT at (888) 610-0010.
Resident internet is free of charge for People’s Self-Help Housing residents.
Innovative IT provides technical support at no cost to residents at (888) 610-0010. Residents can also call this number to get the Wi-Fi password. Support is available in English and Spanish.
Note that this tech support is primarily a call-back service, so residents will need to leave their full name and telephone number on the answering machine to get help.
Speeds vary by property because different networks were built at different times and under different requirements. Internet is great for basics such as web browsing and email, but may not offer high enough bandwidth for streaming, especially at higher resolutions.
Below is the list of properties with resident internet at this time. Unless otherwise indicated, the system is supported by Innovative IT.

*Wired, but property manager must provide residents with a modem before they can connect
Most installations are wired due to its reliability and because the infrastructure is already in place. Some properties use a wireless system.
Yes! If internet is run to the unit via phone line, residents can connect a wireless router to their modem. If internet is run to the unit via Ethernet, residents can connect an Ethernet cable from the wall jack to their wireless router’s WAN port. This will create a private wireless network.
Residents who opt for this must provide their own router at their expense and tech support for personal systems is not available.
