Every day, over 10,000 of your neighbors call People’s Self-Help Housing home.

Our affordable housing provides a firm foundation where families can grow, seniors can live independently, and those coming out of homelessness can feel like they belong. For many, that is enough to open up a world of possibilities.

But for others, just a little more is needed.

For over twenty years, our caring supportive service teams have responded with compassion, expertise, and a friendly smile to ensure that all residents have the opportunity to be at their best. Whether it’s a visit from a social worker, help with homework, or connections to the community, our counselors, educators, and advocates are alongside in moments of need.

Join us in recognizing 20 Years of Supportive Services!

At one of our ten Learning Centers, 62% of students began the academic year two or more grade levels behind their peers. By the end of the year, only 5% of students were still two or more grade levels behind.

Also greatly improved was the number of students reading at or above grade level: increasing from 10 to 42%.

In a year, the Supportive Housing Program provides:

• 11,000+ community resource referrals

• 8,800+ hours of case management

Kindness and a helping hand moved the dream of becoming a US citizen one step closer for a cherished resident and mother of three. The completion of the N-400 was all that was standing in the way, but with the help of her PSHH Social Worker, she was able to secure a test date with UCIS and passed the exam with flying colors!

Now, as a naturalized citizen, this parent is charting a course for success and bringing new opportunities to her family!
