Scott Fina previously served as a fund raiser and project developer for the Vincentian Solidarity Office located in Philadelphia, involved in humanitarian work internationally. He is active as a community advocate in the Santa Maria area and has been connected to the following organizations: Guadalupe Catholic Worker House, Orcutt’s Children’s Art Foundation and the Central Coast Coalition for Immigrant Rights. Scott has extensive experience in grant writing, finance, education, project management and working with the poor and homeless. He earned a Ph.D. in Political Science from Temple University, and a Master’s of Public Administration from Seton Hall University. Scott was elected to the Board in August of 2016. Scott, his wife and 3 children live in Orcutt.
