Alejandra Mahoney

Director of Education

Alejandra Mahoney oversees development and administration of the organization’s K-8 After-School and College Club programs offered at PSHH’s 11 learning centers.

Born in Costa Rica, Alejandra joined PSHH in 2006, bringing extensive experience from her career at Santa Maria Joint Union High School District, Fitzgerald Community School, and Santa Barbara County Office of Education. Since then, she has guided education initiatives across the Central Coast, serving as a board member for The Fund for Santa Barbara, an ambassador for Allan Hancock Community College, as a graduate of Central Coast Future Leaders and Leadership Santa Maria Valley.

Alejandra lives in a 92 year old farmhouse, has been an organic farmer for over 20 years and enjoys travel, cuisine, and spending time with her husband, four children and two dogs.
