Independence & Service
Our team of compassionate social workers empower residents on their journey towards independence. Our team supports a smooth transition into housing for those who are without a safe, supportive home and helps prevent homelessness for vulnerable individuals who may be at risk of losing their housing. During difficult times such as job loss, physical or mental health crises, and other emergencies, social workers walk alongside residents to navigate the path towards independence and stability. Our social workers are highly skilled at obtaining resources and providing the emotional support needed to get residents through difficult times. The Supportive Housing Program services can change lives, such as helping a head of household secure reliable employment, an older adult finding a caregiver to age safely at home, an individual in crisis receiving behavioral health services, a disabled resident obtaining permanent disability income, or helping a family setting up a savings account to prepare for emergencies or become a first-time homeowner! Help create more opportunities for independence for our residents!
