People’s Place, Santa Paula

People’s Place is a new construction development of 68 one-, two- and three-bedroom units, which will serve families and farmworker households earning 30-60% of the area median income. On-site amenities include a community building and kitchen for resident events, a multipurpose room, outdoor courtyards, BBQs, and playgrounds. All residents will have access to free, confidential supportive services.

People’s Place is comprised of 68 affordable, multifamily housing units for households making 30-60% of the Area Median Income (AMI). Listed below are the ‘Maximum Income Limits’ for Ventura County to see if you qualify. The property will include 21 units set aside for farmworker households making 30-45% of the AMI.

At the time of applying, your household’s total gross annual income may not exceed the guidelines below. These limits are determined by the Department of Housing and Urban Development and are updated annually. Effective 5/15/23

Yes! Section 8 is accepted. However, PSHH doesn’t provide Section 8 vouchers. If you don’t currently have a voucher, please visit the Santa Paula Housing Authority to learn more and enroll.

People’s Place is located at 710 W. Harvard Blvd in Santa Paula.

All units will be equipped with a new refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, window coverings, and vinyl flooring throughout. There will be mobility and sensory accessible units available. Buildings are 2-3 stories tall with interior courtyards. Resident will have uncovered parking and laundry facilities on each level of each building. Please note, there are no elevators. This is a non-smoking property.

Yes! Pets are allowed, with some guidelines.

Residents can enjoy a community room, playgrounds, shared gardens, and designated bike storage. Free onsite services include: property management, access to social workers, afterschool education programming, and so much more!

Residents will pay their own electricity (solar), water, and sewer. PSHH will pay for trash. A utility allowance is provided.
