Free Foreclosure Prevention Workshop To be Held in Santa Maria
on Wednesday February 25th

Peoples’ Self-Help Housing Corporation (PSHH) and the City of Santa Maria invite the public to attend a free foreclosure prevention workshop on Wednesday, February 25th at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Center at Los Adobes de Maria II Apartments at 1148 West Boone Street in Santa Maria. The workshop will be conducted in Spanish and English simultaneously.

The workshop is open to Santa Maria Homeowners who wish to learn more about the foreclosure process and what other options may be available besides foreclosure to resolve their current situation.

At the workshop, participants will learn strategies to preserve homeownership and avoid foreclosure. Attendees of the workshop who need further assistance may make appointments with bi-lingual PSHH housing counselors. PSHH Housing Counseling staff is available to meet in Santa Maria on Thursdays from 2 to 5 pm and also by appointment at the Los Adobes de Maria II Community Center, at 1148 West Boone Street.

Additional Foreclosure Prevention Workshops are scheduled March 11th in Carpinteria and May 20th again at Los Adobes de Maria II. First Time Homebuyer Workshops are also offered periodically to provide prospective homebuyers with the information they need to make a wise purchase and loan decisions.
