February, 2009 Iverson Joins Peoples Self-Help HousingMonica Iverson has joined Peoples’ Self-Help Housing as Administrative Assistant-Development, it was announced by Rochelle Rose CFRE, Director of Development. She will assist the fundraising department with office management, special events, donor database management, and foundation relations. She graduated from Green River Community College in Auburn, Washington as a Legal Administrative Assistant. Iverson has worked as a paralegal at a law firm and for the City of Boise Planning and Development Department. She lives in Santa Barbara with her husband Jeff who is studying at the Santa Barbara College of Law. Peoples’ Self-Help Housing (PSHH) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide affordable housing and programs leading to self-sufficiency for low-income families, seniors, and other special needs groups on California’s Central Coast. Since its founding in 1970, PSHH has assisted over 1,100 households build their own self-help home and has developed, and now manages, over 1,200 affordable rental residences in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties. -###-
