Gaspar Appointed New Educator at Youth Education Program
at Peoples’ Self-Help Housing Canyon Creek in Paso Robles

Kimberly S. Gaspar has been appointed the new Educator at Peoples’ Self-Help Housing’s Youth Education Enhancement Center at Canyon Creek housing complex in Paso Robles, it was announced by Executive Director Jeanette Duncan.

Gaspar will supervise the Youth Education Enhancement Program (YEEP) which provides quality daily after school education for over 80 K-6 school children from five Paso Robles elementary schools. The highly-acclaimed program is funded in part by a State of California, Department of Education 21st Century grant.

Gaspar holds a B.S. degree Child and Family Development from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and previously worked as a substitute in the YEEP program and in the Paso Robles School District. She volunteered as a Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader for seven years and chaired the Parent Teacher Organization at Lewis Middle School for three years. Gaspar also served as chairperson of the successful grassroots effort to pass the $20 million bond for capital improvements at Paso Robles High School. She, her husband Tony and two children live in Paso Robles.
