WELLS FARGO BANK FOUNDATION DONATES $45,000
TO PEOPLES' SELF-HELP HOUSING

Wells Fargo Foundation recently donated $45,000 to support the mission of Peoples’ Self-Help Housing (PSHH), according to Rochelle Rose, Fund Development Director. PSHH develops and manages affordable rental housing in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties.

Randy Chun of the Wells Fargo Foundation stated, “Wells Fargo is proud to support organizations like Peoples’ Self-Help Housing who are working to strengthen our communities. We direct our giving to areas that we believe are important to the future of our nation's vitality and success: community development, education, and human services.”

Peoples’ Self-Help Housing has completed over 1,200 rental units for low-income and special needs households, as well as 1,100 self-help homes, in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties since its founding in 1970. In addition, PSHH provides free, supportive social services for its 6,000 tenants and has developed six youth education centers that offer daily after-school homework assistance for over 250 children.
