Women’s Economic Ventures and Citibank Honor the 2005 Business Women of the Year

Santa Barbara, CA—On Thursday, October 20th, four local women will be honored in four award categories as Women’s Economic Ventures 2005 Business Women of the Year presented by Citibank.

2005 Entrepreneur of the Year—Laura Inks

Women’s Economic Ventures (WEV, pronounced “weave”) and Citibank will present the 2005 Awardees at an Awards Luncheon from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 20, 2005 at Fess Parker’s DoubleTree Resort in Santa Barbara.

Local nominations for the 2005 Business Women’s awards were solicited and received from distinguished community members throughout the greater Santa Barbara area in June, July and August of this year.
