Guadalupe Makers Market

October 20, 2018 - Guadalupe, CA

Peoples' Self-Help Housing (PSHH) presented a one-day market to showcase the crafters, artisans and cooks of Guadalupe, California at the Flapper's Flip Boutique located on Historic California Highway One. This new, unique event provided a nurturing environment for budding entrepreneurs to product test and sell their wares alongside experienced vendors. Some 200 shoppers perused the several booths selling a variety of handcrafted pieces including home decor, ceramics, apparel, jewelry and fine art. In the PSHH booths that were funded by Enterprise Community Partners, budding entrepreneurs sold cute crocheted items for babies, color coozies for soup bowls, glass pendants, creative candles and matchboxes and homemade bunelos, pan dulce, muffins, biscuits and pupusas. Many of the budding entrepreneurs said the experience was positive and a great launching point for their new small business. View all event photos on our Facebook @pshhc.
