En 2017, su labor fue reconocida con el premio Mujeres Distinguidas por su voluntariado.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-start para-style-body\"><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Shelly tiene una Licenciatura en Ciencias en Desarrollo Infantil y una maestr\u00eda en psicolog\u00eda, lo que informa su pasi\u00f3n por apoyar la vivienda asequible y los servicios para ni\u00f1os. Se ha desempe\u00f1ado como presidenta\/vicepresidenta, presidenta\/vicepresidenta y directora ejecutiva interina de varias organizaciones.
